I'm Bryce Jellyman, Whanganui born and third generation in the heating industry. My grandfather was a boilerman. My father a fitter. I am the HVAC mechanical services engineer.
My first taste of the trade was 1999, school holidays spent pulling old aircons to bits for scrap money to help my old man out. By 2002 I was working full time, doing my apprenticeship under my father Gilbert Jellyman at Whiteout Building Services.
That is where I learnt the craft properly. Pipe fitting and welding across steel, stainless, copper, Fusiotherm, PE, PVC and Insul-pipe. We ran a full sheet metal shop too, where I handled pattern development and manufacturing of ducting from one off jobs through to large production runs. Eventually moved up to site foreman.
The big work in those years was on some of Whanganui and Manawatu's biggest commercial sites. Healthcare, government, industrial. Plus countless domestic and commercial heat pump installs in between.
In 2013 I met my wife Farrah and our stepson. We have two kids together now and we own and operate HVAC Pro side by side.

We are not some big company with offices all over the place. We are locals, born and bred in Whanganui, and this is where we will stay. We know the sites. We know the buildings. We know the people running them. Most of our commercial work comes from clients we have been looking after for years, on sites we have been back to dozens of times.
